Terms and Conditions

• All prices are in British Pounds.  Approximate Euro and US conversions are available.  All prices exclude VAT and sales taxes.   Currently, I am not registered for VAT and therefore VAT will not be charged.
• You are responsible for any VAT, Customs Duties, clerarance charges etc. that may be imposed by your country of residence.
• All orders are processed on a first come, first served basis.
• The shell you see in the photograph is the shell that you will get
• There is no minimum order limit.
• I will combine orders from eBay (seller: cypraeamanUK) and shellauction (seller: cypraea) and have them shipped together.  To reserve shells they must be paid for, postage will only charged when shipped.
• All shells that do not meet your standards can be returned (within 7 days of receipt) and will be replaced or refunded.
• We ship orders within 2-3 days after payment for the order.
• Payment can be made in British pounds (GBP), Euro or United States Dollars (USD) – see payment page for details.
• I accept paypal (No transaction fee charged to you) and bank transfers (EFTs) buyer pays sending bank fees.  

Postage/Shipment is extra.  Shells are shipped using the UK Royal Mail.  I use a fully trackable service.  Orders can be shipped by international courier for the cost of the buyer.   Due to customs difficulties with shipping to Italy, Spain and Portugal customers from those countries must agree to pay the full additional postage if the parcel is returned to me  by the customs authorities in those countries, and needs to be resent.  This applies even where the intial postage was free of charge.  Refunds will also be issued for returned parcels less 10% handling fee.    

Free shipping on UK orders above GBP 100, European orders above GBP 350 and orders from other countries above GBP700.  Order value excludes VAT and Shipping.

Shipping and packaging costs are calculated based on weight, volumetric weight and destination based on the trates charged by UK Royal Mail.  Shipping costs are subject to periodic change.  Royal mail usually adjust their rates 1 April every year.     

I do not ship to certain countries such as Russia, Israel, South American Countries and The Middle East (excluding UAE) and Africa (Excluding South Africa).  Buyers resident in those countries must contact me before ordering to see if an exception can be made.

I
